Advanced Center for Health & Pain Management is a fully equipped, state of the art facility. Our practice includes the conservative treatment of disorders of the neck and back, soft tissue sprains and strains, non-surgical inter vertebral disc lesions, carpal tunnel syndrome, whiplash associated disorders, fibromyalgia and myofascial pain syndromes, as well as headaches and migraines. We use the latest FDA cleared equipment and technology available, and combine Conventional Medicine prescribes by a Licensed Medical Doctor who is an Internist, Naprapathic Soft tissue manipulation administered by a Licensed and Board Certified Doctor of Naprapathic Medicine, Nutritional Counseling by a Licensed Dietitian. Our center uses state of the art modalities including ultrasound, hot packs and cold lasers and massage to ensure fast, long lasting results for our patients. We assist patients with addiction problems such as smoking and obesity.

Medical Physician

Our center staffs a Licensed Medical Doctor who will give you a complete examination in order to best evaluate your healthcare needs, including strategies for weight loss and stress management. Your weight loss will be supervised by a licensed health care provider within a safe directed plan where only the best weight loss methods have been proven to work. The physician may prescribe FDA-approved medication to help you loose weight and reduce your anxiety.

Naprapathic Health Care

A Naprapathic Physician is on staff at our center. A Naprapath is a licensed doctor who practices the arts and sciences of Naprapathic Medicine. Naprapathic Medicine is a branch of medicine evaluating and treating persons who may have neuro-muscular conditions or connective tissue disorders. A Doctor of Naprapathic Medicine is a connective tissue specialist who practices pain management. Naprapathic practice includes the evaluation of persons with connective tissue disorders by taking a complete history, health evaluation and then performing a series of specialized tests and measurements including orthopedic and neurological testing. They may order an X-ray or MRI to further evaluate a patient's condition. Naprapathic Doctors may use certain connective tissue manipulation along with various physio-therapeutic modalities such as laser, electrical muscle stimulators and ultrasound along with therapeutic and rehabilitative exercise, postural analysis and nutritional counseling, for purpose of preventing, correcting or alleviating physical disability and to speed up the healing process. Our center staffs a Licensed Dietitian who can help change your diet so that you may have better health. We offer a three phase weight loss program that will first detoxify your body. Our Clinical Nutritionist will then reevaluate your eating habits and design a specific diet just for you. As you lose weight our dietitian will suggest certain supplements to meet your nutritional needs. We carry only professional quality supplements including vitamins and herbs.

With our weight loss program, our Licensed Dietitian helps you achieve a weight that is healthy and realistic for you. A good first step is to measure your body composition. The most common method used by most recent medical research is the Body Mass Index (BMI), which gives you a numerical rating of your health through a simple calculation using your height and weight. However, a person’s BMI is based on weight only, and it does not factor in age or muscle mass (which weighs more than fat).

Our Clinical Nutritionist determines your body composition by a more accurate technique known as Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis (BIA), which sends a harmless amount of electric current through a person’s body. The current calculates your percentage of body fat by “reading” amount of fat, body mass and lean body mass in your system. With our weight loss program, you will enjoy a 5-10% loss of body weight EVERY month until your goal weight is reached.

By figuring out your body composition, you begin to determine your ideal path to achieving your weight loss goals. Studies show that by engaging in a healthy, realistic weight loss program at your own pace, you already significantly decrease the risk of developing health problems.

The U.S. Surgeon General report on nutrition and health, estimated that two thirds of adult Americans are overweight. The National Institute of Health estimates that more than 30% of the adult population is obese, a disease which can dramatically increase the risk of cardiovascular disease, cancer, diabetes and hypertension. Laser Therapy

Our center staffs a Laser Meridian Therapist (Laserologist) who will use a soft laser on various points on your body to promote relaxation, decrease pain and inflammation. (See Soft Laser)
